Lingen Davies Cancer Fund exists to help people throughout the local community – both before, during and after a cancer diagnosis. Our goal is to help people; and those people who need us, support us, and partner with us, are central to our continued drive to enhance cancer services, support and treatment for people throughout Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid-Wales.
Here’s a selection of inspirational stories from just a few of the people we help – the patients who have been through cancer, or who are currently undergoing treatment – the people who may have felt the same emotions as you or your loved ones. If you’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer, prostate cancer, tonsil cancer, skin cancer, bowel cancer, bone cancer, or lung cancer we currently have stories that may help you as people share their symptoms, experiences, emotions and treatment.
We have stories from some of our fabulous volunteers and supporters who come to the charity with a wide range of skills, experience, and from very diverse backgrounds. They talk about what brought them to Lingen Davies Cancer Fund, why they volunteer, and what they get from their varied experiences.
