We are excited to be working with Adrenaline Sporting Events to bring you Shropshire (and borders) newest cycling event, in aid of Lingen Davies! Find out more about Adrenaline here.
Pedal the Borders is a 100km cycle ride, beginning and ending at Aico in Oswestry, that takes in miles of stunning local scenery. View the route here.
The route does have some challenging aspects and we don’t recommend complete novices enter the ride. You will receive a 10-12 week training plan to guide you to a good level of fitness, but please bear this in mind.
We’re encouraging individuals and teams to enter, and would love to have corporate teams involved too! A great team building exercise, as well as supporting local charity! Your entry fee will include:
Individual entry fee: £30 (+0.70p processing fee)
Team entry (4 people): £110 (+£1.75 processing fee)
We ask you to commit to raising £100 sponsorship, per person, for Lingen Davies Cancer Fund – think of it as £1 per KM!! These funds will enable us to fund vital projects to improve cancer services for the people of Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales.
We will also need some lovely volunteers to help us on the day! If you would like to be involved, please email [email protected] or call Lizzy on 01743 492396.
