About the event
We’re super excited to announce we’ll be hosting our first fundraising event at Shrewsbury Abbey; and what better way to kick things off than with our inaugural Abbeyfest, which will take place on 26th & 27th November 2021.
Abbeyfest looks to combine the electric atmosphere of a beer and gin festival with the comforts of Christmas, all under Shrewsbury Abbey’s iconic roof, and it’s shaping up to be a real festive treat! We’ll be offering a specially selected array of beers and gins from independent brewers and distillers both local and further afield, a selection of food stalls, live music and a few other treats along the way. Abbeyfest is the perfect start to the festive season and is guaranteed to get even the most ardent of Scrooges into the Christmas spirit… with a little help from some delicious Christmas spirits!
The event will be over 18s only and a standard entry option and VIP are available. Standard entry costs £10 (in advance, £12 on door) and will get you access to the event, a drinks token, and event glass and brochure. VIP costs £50 and will give you fast track entry, access to the seated VIP area located in the Abbey’s beautiful Chancel with dedicated waiting staff as well as £10 worth of drinks tokens, a food token, and event glass and brochure. Tables of 6 can be bought for VIP entry, at a discounted rate of £276…simply select ‘6’ in the quantity of VIP tickets you’d like to order.
