We’re delighted to share a new story from one of our supporters Antonia Hewings from Shrewsbury.
Antonia has ovarian cancer and as well as dealing with that, she is undergoing treatment for heart failure and has damaged vocal chords as a result of what she’s been through. The former teacher is doing everything she can to maintain her fitness and stay as well as possible to cope with her condition.
Attending the Kick Cancer course run by Shrewsbury Town in the Community on our behalf helped her start back on the road to fitness, the course is aimed at helping cancer patients, or those who are living beyond, regain or maintain physical fitness.
