Birthday lunch raises over £6,100!

On Sunday, 17th November we held a joint celebratory luncheon to mark Eaton Manor’s 90th and Lingen Davies’ 45th birthday. Eaton Manor kindly hosted us in their beautiful Events Centre, located on their impressive 500 acre south Shropshire estate.

The sell-out lunch was a HUGE success raising over £6,100 for Lingen Davies! Guests enjoyed a delicious two course meal served by local caterer Oak Apple Catering followed by a birthday game with the chance for one person on each table to win a bottle of fizz. The day ended with 14 fantastic raffle prizes being won out including tickets to Ludlow Racecourse, afternoon tea for two, luxury chocolate hampers and much more.

Emilie Kerr, Events and Marketing Coordinator for Lingen Davies, said: “We’re over the moon with incredible response we’ve had to this event. It is the first time we’ve held a Sunday luncheon in south Shropshire, and for it to be a sell-out that raised over £6,100 is amazing! Oak Apple Catering served a delicious lunch, and the atmosphere was lovely, all in all a very successful afternoon.”
