Martyn's Story

Martyn said he was ‘tripping along quite nicely’ until he noticed a swelling in his neck. He ‘left it and left it’ and by his own admission took an ‘ignorant approach’ before visiting his Dentist who referred him directly onto his Doctor.

Investigations revealed Martyn had advanced head and neck cancer and he began treatment at the Centre.

Here he talks about the impact it had on him and his family, and how he went on to dramatically change his lifestyle as a way of protecting his future.
