A huge thank you goes to the students of the Learning Community Trust in Telford, who’s recent banquet evening raised nearly £900 for their chosen charities; Lingen Davies Cancer Fund and Severn Hospice. Amazing students from across the trust’s three secondary schools; Hadley Learning Community, Ercall Wood Academy and Charlton School, prepared a three course meal for Headteachers, senior staff, staff, Governors and Trustees.
The food was delicious and served immaculately by the students. We are very grateful for their efforts and think this is a brilliant idea for a fundraiser!
The funds raised from this event contributed to our £1.25m 40th Anniversary Appeal; funding a wide range of projects aimed at making a positive difference to lives affected by cancer in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid Wales.
