40th Anniversary Appeal Launched!

We had a fantastic night celebrating Lingen Davies’ 38th birthday at Ashley’s Bar, Shrewsbury along with our friends and supporters. It was great to see so many people who had contributed to our fundraising over the years, including the recent LINAC Appeal which finished an amazing four months early!

As well as celebrating our successes so far, the we launched our exciting new strategic plan and 40th anniversary appeal.

Lingen Davies has gone through some exciting changes recently, and we are working hard to make sure our charity is efficient, sustainable and making a real difference to the people of Shropshire, Telford and Mid Wales into our 40th Anniversary year and beyond.

We are very pleased to announce our ambitious £1.25 million appeal, which will focus on three areas of work- prevention and early diagnosis of cancer, effective and accessible treatment, and life beyond cancer. We will be funding a range of projects, starting with an MRI Guided Prostate Biopsy Machine and Colorectal Scope Guides. Both of these purchases will make treatments more efficient, effective and comfortable for patients.
