Sound baths for those living with and beyond cancer to help rebalance the mind, body, and soul. Delivered by Helen Wilding Sound Healing.
A sound bath is a form of alternative therapy that uses a range of therapeutic instruments – including singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, monochord, tuning forks, and voice – to promote relaxation and restore balance to the mind, body, and soul.
Participants are invited to lie on padded mats or sit comfortably in chairs supported by pillows, blankets, and eye masks if desired. Each session begins with a guided relaxation and gentle breathwork and setting an intention for the sound bath, followed by the gentle sounds of therapeutic instruments. Periods of intentional silence are incorporated throughout to deepen the experience.
Sound Baths can…
Increase relaxation
Reduce anxiety and pain
Release suppressed emotions
Balance the nervous system
Improve sleep patterns
Increase energy and positivity
Build a sense of peace and happiness
Increase self-love
A sound bath lasts for 60 minutes, with a further 15 minutes at the end for gently waking up the body with grounding exercises and time for chatting.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water, extra blankets and cushions for added comfort if you wish.
