Why Volunteer?

We couldn’t do the work we do without our amazing volunteers and because of this we’re always looking for new enthusiastic supporters to join us.

Whether you would like to help us on a regular basis, help whenever you have a little time to spare, or be an extra pair of capable hands at large-scale events – it’s up to you!

Looking to volunteer for us?

We are always on the lookout for volunteers to help supports us with different projects, events and office tasks. Volunteering roles can include:

  • Collecting bucket donations in supermarkets or other public places
  • Publicising Lingen Davies activities in your local town or village
  • Handing out water to thirsty participants at running events, or covering them with paint at our Annual Colour Run
  • Supporting the office team with administrative tasks
  • Sharing your own experience of cancer, if you have one, to support others going through treatment
  • Dressing up as ‘Sunny’ the Mascot
  • Being part of a committee to organise events in their region

Make a one-off donation

As well as running fundraising appeals for one-off technology or equipment at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, we are always fundraising for ongoing projects for the wider community. Our LiveLife Cancer Awareness Service is a huge part of our work, and we welcome any contribution you can make to enable us to help prevent cancer.
