Yoga for Beginners with Breathe Studio

This gentle 12-week course delivered by Breathe Studio is ideal for beginners at any stage of their cancer journey.
Enjoy slow, mindful movement in a relaxed, supportive and uplifting environment. Sessions are fully adaptable to your comfort, including chair-based options if preferred.
Each class lasts 45 minutes, with extra time to rest and reflect afterwards. Small group sizes of up to eight participants ensure a warm, personal and supportive experience.
Throughout this course, you’ll experience the supportive benefits of yoga for your body, mind and spirit. These may include:
- Less cancer-related fatigue
- Fewer treatment side effects
- Relief from aches and discomfort
- Increased strength, flexibility and ease of movement
- An enhanced sense of well-being and quality of life

Dates: Sessions start from Tuesday, 11th May and run for 12 weeks
Timings: Sessions start at 10.30am (45-minute class, but allow up to an hour for relaxation & reflection time)

About Your Facilitator
Kallika is a hatha yoga teacher with a wealth of experience in the health and wellbeing sector. She holds a BHSc (Hons) and extensive training in musculoskeletal bodywork, Shiatsu, and Chinese Medicine.
With over 30 years of experience, she specialises in adapting therapeutic practices for individuals with diverse needs and has worked extensively in delivering yoga and wellbeing sessions for third-sector organisations and privately.
