Tai Chi
Telford
These gentle Tai Chi sessions delivered by Faye Tai Chi Friends are for anyone living with and beyond a cancer diagnosis in Telford and Wrekin, Shropshire, and Mid Wales.
This mindful movement practice combines soft physical exercise with breathing techniques and relaxation. The sessions focus on improving balance, mobility, and coordination while also helping to ease tension, reduce stress, and support emotional wellbeing.
Above all, these sessions provide participants with a welcoming and understanding space to reconnect with their body and share gentle activity with others who understand the cancer journey.
No previous experience is needed, and movements are slow, flowing, and easy to follow. Participants can sit or stand during the session, allowing everyone to work at their own pace and energy level. Online options are also available for those who are unable to attend in person.
Comfort breaks with refreshments will be provided. Participants can sign up for one or multiple sessions on a first come first served basis.
