Horticultural Activities

Shrewsbury, Oswestry

NB: The spring Shrewsbury group is now full. Look out for more Horticultural Activities sessions in Shrewsbury in autumn 2026. The Oswestry group is still open – see details below.

Learn a range of horticultural skills, enjoy nature-craft activities like gardening and willow weaving, and experience peaceful surroundings with Alexis from Bloomin’ Lovely.

Each programme consists of a variety of seasonal activities chosen for their therapeutic benefits and connection to nature. Participants will have something to take home at the end of each session.

Sessions will be led by Alexis, an occupational therapist, gardener, and trained horticultural therapy practitioner.

Previous knowledge or experience not needed – the programme is designed for you to go at your own pace, enjoy nature, and socialise with those around you.

With a focus on wellbeing, there will be plenty of time for you to just sit and enjoy the peaceful location.

You can sign up for one session, or multiple – the choice is yours!
