It’s back!!! The London Marathon 2022 will be bigger and better than ever after taking a year off. Thousands of people will lace up their trainers to complete the epic course and raise millions of pounds for charity. And if you’ve ever wanted to be part of it yourself – now you can!
We have Gold Bond places available for you to take on the 26 mile challenge as part of Team Lingen Davies. In 2019 #teamLD Nick, Steve, Adam, Helen and Simon raised more than £13,500 for our appeal. Imagine how you will feel crossing the finish line on The Mall knowing you’ve taken part in such an incredible fundraising effort.
The 2022 Virgin Money London Marathon is being held on Sunday, 2nd October, and we ask our runners to raise a minimum of £1,500 in sponsorship. Each person running for Lingen Davies will receive a branded running vest and t-shirt, support leading up to the race, and the chance to gain sought-after Virgin London Marathon Grandstand tickets for their spectators.
Those of you lucky enough to get your own place in the 2022 Virgin Money London Marathon – through the ballot or via a running club – are very welcome to join our team too! We are excited to be working with Adrenaline Sporting Events to bring you Shropshire (and borders) newest cycling event, in aid of Lingen Davies! Pedal the Borders is a 100km cycle ride, beginning and ending at Aico in Oswestry, that takes in miles of stunning local scenery.
