Current appeal…

One of the most effective ways of improving cancer survival is early detection and diagnosis

  • People diagnosed with cancer at an early stage have the best chance of survival.
  • Early diagnosis means an increased range of treatment options and improved quality of life.

We also want to help people reduce their risk of developing cancer:

  • Four in ten cancers are preventable and there are things we can do that reduce the chances of getting it.
  • A person’s risk of developing cancer depends on many factors, including age, genetics, and exposure to risk factors, but many lifestyle factors also play a part.
  • Helping people make small lifestyle changes can make a big difference.

LiveLife Cancer Awareness is here to help!

Our LiveLife Cancer Awareness service will be available to communities across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid Wales as a mobile facility. Community groups, organisations, and large scale event organisers will be able to access and book the free health-promotion resource to attend their meeting or event

The LiveLife service will:

  • Provide a wide range of quality information and resources. We also bring lots of interactive fun such as quizzes, games, competitions and free handouts.
  • Help people access on-line information and support, and sign post to local services.
  • We are happy to offer a stand-alone event or to participate in your community event. This could be a health fair, festival, fete or show.

We are also able to deliver presentations, talks and workshops on a range of cancer related topics to community groups, schools, colleges and workplaces. These can either be held in person or virtually, as requested.

We also provide a LiveLife Cancer Awareness corporate offer to our corporate sponsors and supporters.

Our LiveLife Cancer Awareness Service is:

  • Free of charge
  • Available anywhere in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid-Wales
  • Delivered by experienced and knowledgeable staff
  • Flexible to meet your needs and that of the venue and event
